Top election strategist Prashant Kishor on Friday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi after US President Donald Trump comments on his mood.
On Twitter, Kishor said, “We can forget all our worries as India seem to have truly arrived at the global stage. We now have President of the United States (Donald Trump) informing the world about the mood of our Prime Minister!”
Not just Kishor but many from the opposition including senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi have demanded transparency regarding the ongoing border tension between India and China.

Rahul Gandhi said, “The Government’s silence about the border situation with China is fueling massive speculation and uncertainty at a time of crisis. GOI must come clean and tell India exactly what’s happening.”
Both Rahul Gandhi and Prashant Kishor tweet came after US President Donald Trump told US press that PM Modi is “not in a great mood” over the big conflict between India and China.
However, Trump’s claim has been denied by both officials from both China and India, who claim that both the countries will settle the matter through diplomatic dialogue.
Trump had earlier offered to mediate the border flare-up between India and China in Ladakh and Sikkim sectors.
Tensions between India and China increased after soldiers of both nations engaged in a physical brawl on May 5. Many soldiers got hurt due to the episode. Another such incident was reported on May 9 from Sikkim sector.
