Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has now written to the Uttar Pradesh Home Secretary the 1000 buses for migrant labourers will reach Noida and Ghaziabad borders by 5 pm on Tuesday and the government should keep a list of the labourers ready with them.
After the UP government Home Department asked Priyanka Gandhi to send 500 buses to Noida and 500 to Ghaziabad by noon, Sandeep Singh, personal secretary to Priyanka Gandhi has written back and said the buses will reach the locations by 5 pm.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has written to UP Additional Chief Secretary Awanish Awasthi and said, “As requested by you, the buses will reach Noida and Ghaziabad border at 5 pm today, please keep a list of passengers and route map ready to ensure smooth coordination”.
This comes a few hours after the UP government official wrote a letter to Priyanka Gandhi saying the buses for migrants should reach the district magistrates of Ghaziabad and Noida.
The UP government demanded that the buses should reach the respective district administrations by 12 noon on Tuesday and gave the Congress leader a few hours’ time to make the arrangerments.
The letter also specified, “500 buses should be provided to District Magistrate, Gautam Buddh Nagar, at ground near Expo Mart. The other 500 buses should reach the District Magistrate, Ghaziabad, by 12.00 noon.”
However, in a counter-letter, Priyanka Gandhi’s office has said the arrangements for 1000 buses to help the stranded migrant labourers will be made by 5 pm.
Earlier on Monday, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accepted Priyanka Gandhi’s offer to arrange 1000 buses to help the migrant labourers reach their native places in Uttar Pradesh.
The government then asked Priyanka Gandhi to get the buses to Lucknow, after which the Congress leader shot another letter saying taking the empty buses to Lucknow will be futile as the migrants are stranded on the UP-Delhi border and other areas.
Now the government has asked her to get the buses to the UP-Delhi border areas in Noida and Ghaziabad.
